LVMINE PERFVNDARIS

Commissioned by the Province of Gelderland and the Municipality of Nijmegen, we designed an object to serve as a landmark for the archaeological discovery of the largest Roman bathhouse in the Netherlands. The landmark is part of the historical cycling route app "Luxe achter de Limes."

We created the "LVMINE PERFVNDARIS," which translates from Latin as "May you be flooded with light." In this Roman bath, you can sunbathe on the very spot where the ancient Romans once did. The integrated solar panel in the bath allows you to wirelessly charge your smartphone, so you can continue your cycling route fully recharged.
