The LVMINE PERFVNDARIS

Commissioned by the province of Gelderland and the municipality of Nijmegen, we devised an object that serves as a landmark for the archaeological find of the largest Roman bathhouse in the Netherlands.  The landmark is part of historical cycle route App Luxe achter de Limes.

We came up with the ''LVMINE PERFVNDARIS'' translated from Latin: May you be engulfed by light'' In this Roman bath you can sunbathe where the ancient Romans did. The solar panel incorporated in the bath allows you to wirelessly recharge your smartphone so that you can then continue the cycle route recharged.
