When Patrimonium asked us to design a tile tableau for a new restaurant building on Peperstraat in Oss, we immediately delved into the city archives. We discovered that from 1885 to 1960, this unique location hosted the largest horse market in the Netherlands. To honor this historical fact, we designed this horse in Art Deco style, fitting the aesthetic of the building and referencing the history of this central location.
